As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone know what's up with the avatars?
Just curious why it keeps changing. Although I am liking the randomness.

I don't know why they keep changing, but the Nest has screwed around with the profiles and everything is marked as public again, so you might want to go into your profile and change it back to private.
My photo that was my avatar was gone, so I uploaded it again and reset it. The code that is showing for my siggy is ancient and not what actually shows in the post. I am afraid to touch it in case that make my signature revert back to that old stuff.
Nest Anni is gone, so the Knot and Bump gods are supposed to be working on whatever is going on.

I think they're importing the Knot avatars and siggies. That's why some people's siggy codes are also weird.
When the Knot changed format, they also up dated the bios. The avatars got all screwey and were basically random until you actually set one.
The Nest bios didn't switch to match. So I guess because we're all over here, most of us updated our Nest avatars and siggies but never bothered with the Knot, which kept the old stuff.
