I Don't Know If I'm Old or Cheap

But we went to the Ritz movie theater last night and a normal ticket was $10.  $10!!!!  Thankfully we stumbled on the discount night and tickets were only $7.25 a piece.

On related note: We saw "The Kings Speech" and it was fantastic!

  • I know what you are saying. The price for a movie ticket all over is high, but since I turned 60 last year I get a big discount for being a senior (where did all the time go) I have been a lurker here for some time, my daughter was going to be married a few years ago and I could not stop coming on here to see how all your lives are going....I hope that is not weird....Big Smile Have a great day.......
  • $7.25 isn't bad, if only that was the price all the time.  DH and I saw Jackass in 3D and the tickets were around $15 a piece!  I almost had a heart attack!  And the movie sucked Sad

  • Movies are ridiculously expensive!!  Its honestly cheaper for us to wait until they come out on blu ray...we buy it and then if we hate it...it goes in the yard sale pile...cost the same, we get to sit on our own couch, hit pause when we have to pee, and dont need to buy a 6 gallon jug of soda....LOL

I just got a blu ray for my hubby for valentines day $21 cheaper than going..So your not cheap or old your just practical LOL
