I know not many of the nestie kids are in big kid beds, but for those who are (or were), did you use bed rails? And if so, which ones did you use? I'm considering the inflatable ones from OneStepAhead, but I really don't know where else to look. I didn't want to invest in the wooden ones that go with his bed -- they cost a couple hundred bucks.
Re: bed rails?
We have one like this from walmart. I like it, it does its job since she has never fallen out of bed

Peter slept in his new bed last night without rails. It is so low to the ground that I didn't think he needed them and he did fine.
I bought a bed rail at Target for the kids I use to nanny for. It was less then $30 and did the job well
MIL has a cheap metal/mesh rail on the guest bed where Helen sleeps and it works fine. I wouldn't not spend hundreds of dollars on wooden rails!
Darn, I was just in Target today -- I didn't even think to look there! (why is it that no matter how much you buy at Target, you can almost always think of a reason to go back right away?)
This is the story of my life at Target! I go looking for a few things, end up spending $100+ and still think of reasons to go back.
