Ceramic Glass cooktop

I'm more of a lurker but was wondering if anyone had suggestions or recommendations for cleaning a ceramic glass cooktop on an electric range. It seems as though if some water gets on the cook top while in use a mark is left. I use a cermaic cook top spray but they don't seem to go away. Maybe there's a better one out there or something else I should use?

Re: Ceramic Glass cooktop

  • I use Weiman's, but not the spray, I use the liquid cleaner (similar to soft scrub cleanser).  I also use the scrub pads, specifically for the cooktop.

I put it on after cooking, let it sit, then scrub out the marks and use a clean wet cloth to remove the cleaner.

I have used the spray and I did not like it as much.

Ditto this. I use a dry cloth to buff off the excess, then give it a wipedown as needed.
