Cans on W-getaway vehicle?
Do people still do this? Like the "just married" and cans tied to the car to make noise when you drive away?
Haha, this sounds weird, but are there any kinds of laws against having cans? It seems like they could be a hazard?
Re: Cans on W-getaway vehicle?
I'm pretty sure it's illegal in NY, but everything is illegal in NY so I'm not surprised lol.
Some douchebags covered our car in white paint, magnets, flags, stickers and this streamer thing that dangled from the back bumper (didn't even reach the ground.) Apparently stores sell kits for a$$holes to trash your cars... nice.
My little brother thought it would be funny to do this to us the day after the wedding before we left for the honeymoon.... too bad he got caught red-handed! We felt bad because he seemed so proud of himself lol so we left them tied to the car until we turned the corner at the end of the street and were out of sight!
As for laws I'm not too sure but they are definitely a hazard, every time they hit the ground they flung up, hit our bumper or got loose and flew in the air, luckily there were no cars behind us.
We had cans on the truck. We stopped about a 1/2 mile down the road and took them off though. But, I was super excited that they decorated the "getaway" vehicle. I love all that shizz!

Well that's just not cool!
My friends decorated Bryan's car and borrowed my brother's shaving cream to write "Just married' on the back. We didn't go on any roads with it, though; he figured it out when he was pulling the car around to the back of the venue to load it up.
