What's everyone doing for Valentine's Day this weekend?
Re: Valentine's Day
We're going out Sunday night for Japanese/Hibachi - and then we'll come home for dessert....which is going to be a mini layer cake version of our wedding cake from the bakery who did ours!! I cannot wait for this!!!!
We're not doing gifts or anything - just going to celebrate on Sunday.
10/11: Dx PCOS, 2000mg Metformin

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
We're going out to dinner on Monday night, not sure where, DH is surprising me. Oh, and I saw a charge to proflowers.com on our online joint credit card statement today, so apparently I'm getting flowers. I really need to encourage him to get his own credit card, it would have been nice to be surprised! I would have been happy to bail on V-day this year but he wanted to do something. It's like the one day a year he's remotely romantic.
I think I'm going to get him a pair of slippers just to give him a little something.
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
So far, I got a Packers Ave sign for DH and gave it to him before the Superbowl. I'm going to try to find him a shirt or maybe some candy yet. I will probably get flowers or jewelry since that's what he usually does. Plus, I've been eyeing a pink sapphire heart pendant from JCP.
I know we are going to dinner Saturday night, but no clue where. I asked him last night if he had even thought about it yet and of course he didn't. I told him he has to pick since I always do.
I just asked Jeff last night, "So, what plans are you going to make for your wife for Valentine's Day?" Haha! He knows he better do something! I ususally get flowers (Pro Flowers) on V-Day, so hopefully I will still get those. I have a volleyball game Monday night, so maybe I will tell him for my gift I want him to finally go watch a game (he has NEVER seen me play). One of his best friend's girlfriend plays, too...so we will inform them both they don't have an option. Haha!
Not sure what I am going to get him though??? Crap, put that one off WAY too long!!!
I'm thinking about getting DH something for his new job, either a toolkit or a nice messanger type bag, I haven't decided.
We are doing dinner on Sunday night because it will hopefully be less crowded and we don't have to worry about traffic.
DH & I at the Light Festival
We might go out to dinner this weekend, haven't really discussed it. But for Monday I plan on preparing a nice dinner at home with some candle light.
As for gifts, I got him a game for his PS3 he mentioned he would like to have and also some candy.

We kinda spent a lot of money already this month (oops) so we're going to forego a fancy dinner out and eat a nice dinner IN tonight to celebrate (even though we do that every Friday, oops).
When we moved into our house (over a year ago!) I dropped one of his favorite pieces of art and broke the glass, so I'm finally going to get that replaced. I think I'm also going to get a nice engraved business card holder or something for his office.
We are probably going out to eat on Saturday night and then going back home to watch a movie.
We aren't planning on exchanging gifts or anything.

Sheril, since you also live in StL, where are you thinking of going to dinner? I told DH to pick but he hates making decisions when it comes to going out. I was thinking The Hill, but I'm sure that will be packed.
We have several gift cards for Outback Steakhouse, so we would probably go there to try to use some of them up. One of our favorite places to go is Pasta House. We've never really gone to anything real fancy. I will be going to Emperor's Palace for a friend's birthday and I've heard good things about Shogun's Japanese Steak, Seafood & Sushi.
