Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So I got an email from VP today...
And it sounds like it could be really cool. As long as it's not code for "ZOMG UR STEALING FROM US."
Really... "Hey you're so awesome I didn't bother to check your name." But that's me being overly sensitive about people misspelling my name since it happens so often.

I just LOLed at so much of this
She apologized for getting my name wrong when I emailed her back, said she realized as soon as she hit send.
I'm really curious as to what they want to talk about. I'm not sure what all I can help them with. I mean, basically all my opinions are already in the weebly page. I think I'll go make a post on the DIY/Budget boards and maybe the paper and invite board, and see what other people would like to see. Then I can have a list of things to offer them about what brides want.

On a mildly related note, some girl posted on the Budget Board a week or so ago about how VP is a scam, and we should all be careful. I responded that that's a bunch of horsecrap, and that dozens of brides on the DIY board would have to disagree. I got a PM from this girl today saying she didn't mean to "insult" me, and that she had "no problem" if I wanted to continue to order from VP. She offered "proof" of these scams (a website with complaints about VP, most of which were operator error, or simple printing problems). Then said again that she "had no problem" with me continuing to use it (um, thanks?), but that she didn't want t get ripped off, or see other brides get ripped off. Oy. ::facepalm::
I know I'm protective when it comes to VP, but wow. You're going to warn me against a company that dozens of brides currently on the DIY board use, that I have COPIOUS experience with, when you have no personal experience with it?
