Hi ladies, this is my first post in a VERY long time. I miss this place!
Our 2nd anniversary is coming up in May, and we have no idea what to do for it. Last year, we went to Florida for a week. We want to do something less expensive this year, like a weekend getaway or something. Any suggestions would be soooo appreciated
Re: Anniversary suggestions
This place looks cool, and its in a great location with lots of things to do around it.

DH and I have gone away on each of our last 3 anniversaries. We didn't get to go on a honeymoon because we didn't have the money so it's almost like we're making up for it.
Our first anniversary we went Napa/SF which obviously can't be done in a weekend. Our second anniversary we went to NYC which was fun. We took the train into Grand Central and stayed at the Residence Inn Times Square. The hotel was great. We stayed in a room with a view of the the Empire State Building and they have a breakfast buffet every morning. We did a bunch of tourist stuff. Top of the Empire State Building, saw a show, went to the Today show, etc.
Last year was actually my favorite trip so far and we went to The Balsams in NH. My FIL actually works there but I swear I'm not biased. It is a decent drive but it is awesome. It is so relaxing and I have never eaten so well in my entire life. I'm not sure if you're into winter activities but it is all inclusive and includes skiing.
I hope that helps. Let us know what you decide!
