So K had his appt this morning. He did so awesome during the u/s. He held really still, and we didn't have to hold his legs down.
After, we met with the specialist. The nurses and doctor were so surprised at how big he was. But it has been over 3 months since they last saw him. He weighs 21lbs 8oz, and is 28in tall.
The doctor looked him over and then we were able to leave. She hadn't gotten the results of the u/s, so she had to call me when she got them.
So she called me later and told me that the spot on his liver is completely gone.
However, the radiologist was able to see something else on the u/s. Apparently he has an Arteriovenous (A/V) fistula. Which means that an artery and vein in his liver are directly connected, instead of going through capillaries. So, we'll have to go back in 3 months for another u/s. It isn't something serious, but does need to be monitored and can require intervention.
So, we aren't done seeing the specialist. At least we won't have to see a new doctor. And of course I'll keep you all updated.
Re: Baby Rebel update
Hopefully the AV fistula will be nothing. A lot of people have them in their arms.
Glad the spots are all gone.
