need some serious vibes
I'm just going to post my FB status here because I don't think I can type this again without bawling. need some serious vibes that this pup makes it through the night and that her owner shows up to take responsibility for her care. to say that I am completely heartbroken right now would be an understatement.

just hit a dog on Shady Side Road. sitting at the vet waiting to hear whether they'll even treat it or not since it doesn't have tags. worst night ever.

dog has some bleeding internally, which could possibly (hopefully) clot
overnight. pretty much, the vet has made her comfortable with pain meds
and fluids. if she makes it overnight and if no owner shows up before
animal control can get...
there in the morning, they will take over and decide if they will treat
her or just put her down. since there is no owner to speak for her and
because we don't have the money to pay for her care, by law, they cannot
treat her for her injuries. I honestly cannot remember a time when I've
cried more.
