I amaze myself sometimes
I came up with a brilliant bridal shower idea for my FSIL. We're doing a gift card shower, but wanted her to do something so it would be fun for the party since she won't be opening any gifts. So I introduce you to: Minute to Win It - Newlywed Edition.
R will have to do a task in 60 sec based on the scenario given. Example: your husband is bringing home his boss and spouse for dinner, and you must have an appetizer ready when they arrive.
In order to win a $X gift card to X store, make something based on whatever ingredients are available in the cupboard, you have 60 sec. Ready go!
The party will be at my aunt's house, so it will be easy to have props around for tasks. Like ironing a shirt, shaving her legs, clean the bathroom, fold sheets, etc. She'll get the gift cards regardless, but this is a fun way to "earn" them. I can't wait, it's going to be SO much fun!

Very creative!! Although if you asked me to shave my legs, in front of people, and in 60 seconds no less, I'd probably punch you! lol!!! 
Oh, and I wouldn't announce the $ amounts of each card. I would feel super awky about that, as a guest or the bride!
I am a huge fan of Minute to Win it. I think it is a cute idea, but maybe just have the gift cards in envelopes marked with fake amounts like the increments they have on the show, or you could sub in fun ideas like Round 1 is for your cake, Round 2 is for your flowers, Round 3 is for your Honeymoon, even though they are just fake prizes and the real prize is the gc.
Also, I like the idea of doing wedding/household tasks. Have her perfectly fold a fitted sheet! That is hard for me still, lol. Make a wedding gown out of TP (I know this is an old game, but still fun).
I really like this idea, but like I said, I love that show!
I've only seen the show once, so I just gathered the concept from what I saw, and I like the Round 1, 2... idea, that's cool! Maybe we can make a board with the outlines of a cake, flowers, etc and then each gift card is attached to it, so when she wins that item, it gets stuck on the board in the appropriate spot. That could work better as a complete concept and visual. Ooohh I like it!
I'll have to watch it tonite or online so I understand it more. Might help, right?!

Oh, you should have a fake wedding cake (maybe out of Styrofoam) that she has to decorate too. That would be kind of funny.
