hiii bakers.
so we have a friend in town who's bday was Thurs, and I have a bday party for another friend tomorrow night (funny how we go weeks with literally no activities and this weekend is jam packed).
any ideas? For friend A, I am looking for something speedy since I won't be home till 730 or 8 (train to PA since C is already there). For Friend B, I can do a little better - its a suprise 30th and I told his wife I'd bring a dessert - but will really only have 90 min or so b/c we have our first house showing tomorrow am.
The house showing really kinked my schedule.

Clicky
Chick pea chocolate cake- I'm making it tonight.
It's really fun to dress up or leave plain.
You could add strawberries (or any berry) in kind of a syrup-y topping.
Or make a frosting. Or like me I'm making homemade coffee whipped cream
That's actually a pretty 'healthy' cake.
I just ran it through the WW recipe builder and if you divide it into 10 pieces it's just over 7 points a piece. For a cake that's pretty good! I might have to give that a try especially since I'm wondering if I have a gluten intolerance.

christina that sounds good!! i definately need to try it.
good point becky. i might have to pick something up for tomorrow since i cant exactly trash my kitchen before the showing. i do like genuardis bakery.
If you like the brownie idea, here's the info: they're in a clear plastic box with a yellow label. We don't have any ice cream at home, but they'd be amazing with a little scoop on top. And cute, too. They're about the size and shape if they were baked in a mini cupcake/muffin pan.
