My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: The weekend/week in review
1. Had a really fun visit with my parents, including taking them to one of our favorite restaurants and them being very impressed with our new house.
2. My husband having head and neck pain for days on end and not being there when I needed him.
3. We were supposed to go on a wine and chocolate trail, but looks like that's falling through. I want to see Black Swan and spend some time working on the house.
1. What was the best part of your week? Getting lots of sleep!
2. What was the worst part of your week? The cold. -3 this morning? REALLY?
3. What do you have planned for this weekend? We are staying in this weekend and hanging out together. Nothing exciting and I love it!
1. What was the best part of your week? Having Tuesday off. Having time to go to the gym, clean the house a bit, cook and relax.
2. What was the worst part of your week? Can't think of anything that bad. I haven't liked how cold it's gotten at night.
3. What do you have planned for this weekend? Tomorrow night we're having friends over for dinner so I have to do some more cleaning, shopping and cooking. Sunday, I'll probably do some chores, go to the gym or on a hike/swim with the dog if the weather is nice. We will probably start on our taxes, and my brother might come over.

Getting to meet PW in San Francisco with Cara and Zoe

FIL is receiving an award this weekend, so we are going to the awards dinner. We'll get to visit with DH's parents, sister and her fiance, cousin and grandparents (who we haven't seen in a really long time)
1. What was the best part of your week? As far as I can tell I am getting A's in all of my classes so far, and the head of the department who is one of my instructors actually seems to like me...
2. What was the worst part of your week? Our lack of money.
3. What do you have planned for this weekend?
Going to see a movie today with my SIL thanks to some movie passes. We might work in the back yard today as well.

1. What was the best part of your week? Seeing the baby and him/her getting a really healthy report from the doc!
2. What was the worst part of your week? The night before we saw the baby. I barely slept b/c I was excited and anxious and nervous and worried...
3. What do you have planned for this weekend? I need some maternity jeans, a few tops, and new bras, and we'll probably head to IKEA for some furniture...hopefully we'll start clearing the guest room to start getting ready to paint the baby's room
1. Its a tie between a good friend having her baby boy and the egyptian president resigning. Both are amazing and so important but in very very different ways! Oh and also my husband returning from his business trip.
2. House guests.
3. I have house guests so I wont get to work on my room that I've been working on for the past two weekends. I'd like to make more progress. Otherwise, we plan to hike and I'll go running.
Cooking Blog
1. Best part: Talking to my boss yesterday and getting so much praise. I love getting recognition at work because I do love my job and put everything into it.
2. Worst part: Class on Wednesday night. I think it's going to be a weekly hate. Night class was not my best idea.
3. Weekend: Gym! Lunch with a friend, and homework!
1. What was the best part of your week? signing up at the local Y and getting an early morning workout in!
2. What was the worst part of your week? The food for our Leadership Team meeting was over 40 mins late?!?! Their "excuse" was the eggs were not ready? Really, make them earlier.
3. What do you have planned for this weekend? Its my birthday weekend!!!! Lots of good stuff to do. First, I am getting a much needed mani/pedi tonight after work. Tomorrow, I am watching both nieces while my sister gets a pedicure (my request). Then we are going out to dinner with my family. 1. What was the best part of your week?
Monday off for house appraisal & moving onto the next phase of becoming a sheriff's dispatcher (have a polygraph next Thursday).
2. What was the worst part of your week?
3. What do you have planned for this weekend?Finding out that the roof on our soon to be house is recommended for replacement; not knowing if the seller will fully replace it or give cash for it at closing. DH and I will have no extra $ once our house closes (except for the housewarming gift of cash that my grandparents are giving us to replenish our savings account).
Short run or a hike tomorrow, starting to pack things up/throw stuff away that we won't be using anymore. Sunday - trail run with a running group and having dinner at my IL's & hoping FIL can fix our second laptop.

2. What was the worst part of your week?

Not much- playing photographer at a friend's daughter's birthday party today, then probably just hanging out with C the rest of the weekend.
1. What was the best part of your week? Making brownies last night.
2. What was the worst part of your week? Cleaning up tons of cat barf yesterday and being tired all week.
3. What do you have planned for this weekend? I am planning on sleeping and watching whatever I want on tv since DH is going out of town this weekend. If I have the energy to get out of my pjs, I might go see the King's Speech by myself since DH isn't interested in watching it with me.
2. What was the worst part of your week? ? Dealing with some family issues.
3. What do you have planned for this weekend? ? Yard work, house chores, and visiting SF with a college friend who just moved to the bay area (yeah!)
1. What was the best part of your week? The fact that it is over. This week sucked! DH and I did finally find and join a gym so I guess that was good.
2. What was the worst part of your week? It's hard to pick. The stupid meeting on Wednesday that went an hour longer than it was suppose to, how horrible the kids seemed to be at work all week, and the fact that I started my period when I wasn't expecting it for another 2 weeks.
3. What do you have planned for this weekend? We are getting a papa murphys heart shaped pizza and some wine tonight, going to the outlets in Gilroy tomorrow, and out to dinner Monday night for V-Day.
