Re: WTF???
WTF is with inconsiderate people?!?! I got a call wednesday night that the cake order that was supposed to be due the girl wanted by friday after noon. So I had to run to the store wednesday night and pick up all the supplies so I could bake the cake and decorate it and everything all in one night on thursday. Then I get a call back that she can't meet me and her dad can meet me but it will be a window between 11 and 2 pm. So after being up late finishing the cake, with barely any dinner eaten I have to sit here today at work and wait for a phone call from him and hope that I don't starve to death because I forgot my leftover dinner at home.. ugh!!
I actually haven't been feeling too hormonal but today I am really feeling it.. probably because I am completely exhausted and STARVING. Sigh.. you think some people would be a little bit more considerate especially since they know I have been extra tired and hungry for a reason. I guess people think baking a cake and decorating it is easy or something.
Okay rant over lol
Well, this is more something that is a bummer, not something that makes me say WTF but it'll do.
So, my hubby lost his wedding band last night. He *thinks he lost it at home and noticed it when he sat down in his recliner. It's possible thought that he lost it at work and accidently threw it away. We searched everywhere...the whole house top to bottom and can't find it. The poor guy feels horrible about it and I'm pretty bummed about it too. He's notorious for losing things, but it's not like the ring was loose on him and has never accidently slipped off before! So I'll be searching the house again today for it. I told him we can get him a new ring but he want's HIS ring understandably! I would be so besides myself if I lost my wedding ring!
Secondly, this is so selfish of me. Have you ever wished for something that you knew you had no control over? Well....for 9 months I've been hoping and wishing that I would have my baby on my birthday (today). I know that she'll come when she's good and ready, but that doesn't stop me from wishing! I was hoping to wake up to some contractions...even braxton hicks...anything!!! I got nothing. I know rationally not to be bummed about it, but I can't help it! Yes, there are still 15 hrs left of the day, but I really doubt anything is going to all of a sudden start happening in time for her to come by midnight. Guess she just didn't want to share with mommy! I KNOW I'm being silly, but it's really nice to be able to get that off my chest.
I'm still going to have a great day and who knows...maybe I'll find the wedding ring! And no matter when my baby comes, she'll still be a wonderful present!
Aw, Rebecka, I don't blame you for being disappointed that you may not share a birthday. You're due so close that it would be an awesome thing, there's no way anybody else wouldn't have been excited by that thought as well.
WTF: Scandal alert!! So my DH's company may be suing another company for libel. This other company head has been going around saying that DH's boss and several other employees (DH included) are "idiots". Yes, the biotch has been naming my husband by name! (no last name, so it's not ruining his good name). The other company just hired this nut case 2 weeks ago and they dropped DH company as a vendor and hired someone else. Well that someone else is acquaintances with DH's boss and told him what the b*tch was saying. I think that company head is in for rude awakening today when they get a cease and desist letter and find out that they hired the wrong person for the job. Hopefully they drop her ass like a hot potato or they might be facing DH's very irate boss in court.
@Paula: take care of yourself! I hate when people have unrealistically high expectations!
@Rebecka: Happy Birthday! still hoping your LO comes today on your birthday - short labor would be a good present for Mom!
WTF: Just had the most awkward encounter with the ex that I dumped for my DH at a coffee shop that I was at with my DH- boo!

Let's see....WTF is with this cold and snow?? I'm so glad we're getting a warm-up this weekend and all next week!
WTF...well H(ow)TF did my dog figure out how to open his crate??? On wednesday he got out twice -- hasn't done it since thank goodness but one of the latches was open when I went home for lunch today. He's a bit destructive so this is definitely not a good thing.
@Rebekah - I totally agree with Cindy in that I'm a brat and would not want to share my birthday -- you wanting your LO to arrive today is very UNselfish imo!
WTF is up with stupid people today?!?! I saw several wrong way drivers at the mall this morning. Then one lady tried to give me a dirty look after she almost hit me head on and I motioned for her to turn around.
WTF is up with this stupid cold I've had all week. I just want it gone so I can get a good nights sleep again.
