New ultrasound pictures - obviously BR - PIP
We went in for our 21 week ultrasound today, and they estimated that Carter is approximately 14 oz now. We got to hear his heartbeat, see him move around some (including when we saw him kick my bladder...which, by the way, was full of water to make the u/s more clear!), and she said everything looks good at this point.
He wouldn't turn over (the kid is already uncooperative...haha!), so we couldn't get a good profile shot of him (like Laura's cute little picture). The good news there, though, is that we get to do an additional u/s at 28 weeks (we typically would have to wait until 34 weeks) so they can see what they need to see from that view. So I'm pretty excited about that!
She thinks he might have been sleeping for part of it (Chris said he's just like his mama...so true!), but of course as soon as I wiped all the gel off my belly and got up, I could feel him kicking around like crazy.
Anyhow, some of you have said to keep posting baby stuff, so I thought I'd show you a couple of the pictures we got today:
You can see in this picture his head (facing down), spine, arm, and maybe a knee?
They took a couple of 3D pictures, but he had his hand in front of his face - I guess he wasn't ready to reveal how cute he is quite yet

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermOh, that's so much better! I thought it looked like he was wiping away tears since it looks like he has a frown on his face! Although, I also sleep kind of like that - holding my baby blanket (I am not too proud to admit that!) near my face, so I convinced myself that he just takes after his mama

Montana - did L end up looking like she did in the 3D pictures? I didn't know they were going to do any 3D shots today, so that was a really nice surprise!

Wow those are SO amazing!! You guys must be so excited for June to hurry up and get here!! I can't wait to see the next round of u/s pics, I'm curious how much he will change.

Megan, thank you for sharing your beautiful pics with us. I know this sounds cheesy, but it seriously just goes to show what a miracle the birth/development process is!
