Oh Happy (Fri)Day!!!
Hey ladies! Well, after a super crappy work week, so far today has been awesome!! Woke up and the sun was shining (yay) and it was already 25 degrees, which it hadn't hardly gotten up to for about two weeks! Supposedly we are supposed to be almost 60 on Saturday! Yay!!
Then, my boss (big boss) stopped in this morning to talk to me about taking on another crop insurance project at the end of May (it will be a new thing I do for the agency) and told me that I will get a 10% raise for doing this (along with the 5.5% that I already received for the year). I'm so stoked! Sad, though, it might cut in to my "Nest" time.
Finally, since I am avoiding doing any insurance work if possible, my mom asked me to design the graphic to be used on the shirts, koozies, etc. for our big family reunion this year (like, over 100 people). She said since it will be here in Nebraska, where her family is originally from, that they wanted to have it say something about "roots". What do ya think? I'm proud of it! : )
So, what are your plans for the weekend? We might do dinner out or something fun, but nothing major...and I couldn't be HAPPIER!!!

Congrats on the big project at work too. My 9 year anniversary at the bank is coming up a week from tomorrow so I'm hoping I get a li'l somethin'-somethin' too. lol
I'm going to hit the gym on my way home from work tonight,then it's NO-COOK Friday!
We'll most likely get Subway tonight.
Tomorrow is our Valentine's date, but I think we're actually going to have dinner with my parents and cousins instead of going out alone. Then maybe Mike and I will go to the movies afterwards, just the 2 of us. Amanda's mom may be dropping her off later tomorrow night because Mike is running a 4 mile race on Sunday morning and Amanda wants to go to it (but she says if she doesn't stay the night she may not be up and ready when we pick her up, LOL). It's her mom's weekend and she hasn't seen her much this past week so I'm sure she'll want to have her for awhile which is fine...we have a date.
Sunday after the race we'll probably just chill then have dinner over my parents like we always do.
