Maid Service- Metro Area
We are looking into having a cleaning service for our home once a month. We have had finley almost a year now and the shedding is driving me bonkers! Being doors over the winter isnt helping but feel if I could get help once a month I could stay on top of things better.
We are getting quotes now but I dont have any idea what an "average" price would be. We are on the small end of homes just over 1000 SF.
Does anyone have someone come clean?? Can I ask a ball park of what a "good" quote would be?

It can be hard to compare quotes, because some people charge an hourly rate, and some people have a flat rate per house, etc.
We pay our cleaner $35/hour for 2.5 hours every other week. She does a really thorough job, and it's helped immensely with my dust allergies and keeping up on all the pet hair.
For us, it was really important to support an independently-owned business, pay fair living wages, and use all green/organic cleaning products. There may be cheaper alternatives that also fit this description, but we found our cleaner through neighborhood recommendations, so we were happy to hire her. There was another green cleaning company that we were strongly considering as well... I think their rates were a little bit higher, but not by too much.
