I opened up a package of chicken tenderloins, sell by date is 2/14. As I'm rinsing off the chicken and putting it in a marinade, I notice that one tenderloin is bad so I toss it. Now, I'm nervous that the rest of the chicken may be bad. Would you cook the remaining tenderloins, or toss them?
Thanks!
Re: Should I toss?
if you're nervous, just chuck them. i'd rather chuck the money out the window than have everyone sick. sucks though, sorry! perhaps that's a sign that you should order a pizza?
You ladies are right, as much as I hate to waste food, I would have been nervous that one of us would have gotten sick. I chucked the chicken, pizza it is!
