...is special.
She just called me to tell me that she is getting me an Amazon gift card for my birthday and it will be e-mailed, so she wants to know what my e-mail address is.
I told her, and asked why she doesn't have it (since she sends me e-mails all the time), and she said, "Oh, I have it, I just didn't feel like logging on to Yahoo to check."
So now I know what I'm getting for my birthday, two weeks early. Thanks, sis!
Also, she and I have been having the weirdest back-and-forth on FB, I'm concerned about her reading comprehension.
Re: My sister...
Good lord, that's funny.
My sister totally does the same kind of crap. Someone hacked her Gmail a year or so ago (I guess initially going in through PayPal), and her response was to delete her account. Um, okay. Then she reverted to an old Yahoo account, and texted me for my email address. I was like dude, you used that Yahoo acct for about 10 years. Are you telling me my address isn't in the contacts?
My sister literally e-mails me at least twice a week. I know I'm a little antisocial, but I didn't know anyone would rather pick up a phone and call someone (while that person is at work) to ask for their e-mail address, when they are already sitting at a freaking computer.
OMG I'm LMAO. I just logged into my other FB and my two recent updates are both questions from her - "What's Volt?", and "What's a qualifying exam?"
Now, before you think I'm a horrible person, I do understand why she wouldn't know what these things are, but there are lots of context clues in the comments for the first one, and furthermore, if someone posts a status about something I don't understand, I usually won't ask about it. And the juxtaposition of the two 'why' questions one after the other made me chuckle because it reminds me of a two year old.
Yes, that is nuts!
