Recommend your vacuum cleaner -despite dust allergy
Hi! We just moved and I need recommendations on a vacuum cleaner! We have mainly hardwood floors that I swiffer, and a few rooms with carpet. No pets. I have a pretty bad dust allergy. Also the vacuum cleaner shouldn't be too heavy as I'm expecting...

When I was expecting our first, we finally broke down and bought a Dyson. We got the animal version because we have 5 pets, but they have other models and I think one is a lighter version. It is amazing! Our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner! It gets so much up that the other vacuums didn't. I have really bad allergies as well and this has helped so much!
You can get it at BB&B using a 20% coupon and I know some places have had sales on the different models. Good Luck!
Our Dyson was good when we first got it, but it recently crapped out. The repairs would cost half as much as a new vac, so we replaced it with an Oreck.
So far the Oreck is wonderful for DH's allergies. It's super powerful and lightweight.
