Best Zips/Neighborhoods in South Austin to move to?
Hi all! I'm wondering what some of your favorite areas are to live in south Austin are. We are looking for a GREAT neighborhood to rent in, with AWESOME neighbors, a tight-community feel, that is SAFE, and easy access to all directions for DH's job (he travels a TON - north, south, etc.) Looking to be between Mopac and 35, and on either side of 290/71. We're still rather new to the area, and I've been driving around, and looking online at crime stats, but I know word of mouth is still pretty reliable, too. I have a super awesome realtor, too, but just looking for other's local input on saftey...
