BR: That was disappointing
So today H & I were at Pei Wei (this Asian place) for lunch and his fortune cookie says something about "exciting things are coming your way" and the word on the back (...you know they give you the English word and then how to say it in Chinese) is Father.
Of course we're like....holy sh*t!!! It's a sign. I am within the 5 days of when flo should start so I decide to test. I immediately see a line and run out of the bathroom. Two minutes go by and I run back in...yeah there's only one line. That was the control line.
I've only ever taken two tests before and they were positive. Getting the negative is very disappointing. I didn't realize how frustrating it was. Ugh.

That's a bummer. I was just thinking to myself too.... My period was due on Wednesday. Today is Saturday and still nothing....
I messed up so badly on my pills last month.
On another note..
I've eaten there once and will never go back. We don't have one here in MA, we were in FL when we went. What do you order when you're there?
ooo....maybe you should test! (Although I'm anti-POAS for now. d*mn those sticks!).
I order chicken fried rice made with brown rice. It's not the best I've ever eaten, but it's way better than all the random chinese take out places around here. Why didn't you like it - just the taste?

I didn't like the taste. I can't figure out what the flavor was but it was like having aluminum foil in my mouth. I thought I was ordering somethign simple too.. Like chicken and rice.
The negatives are super disappointing, I'm sorry.
Definitely hang on to that fortune though, if it's not this cycle it could be the next!
Oh, that's really weird. I've never thought "metal' when eating there.
I did save the fortune for now. I almost ripped it up and threw it in the trash. Side note here is that the word on my fortune was "Pomelo" and I had to look it up. Some sort of fruit - random! Why would I ever want to know how to say that?
I don't want to give any false hope but when we first tested I got a positive and took a different test that said negative in the same night. (Shockingly the negative was from the FRER and the positive was from a clearblue digital.) I say give it a day or so and try a different test! Good luck!!

I'm not a fan of most of the stuff at Pei Wei, but I looove the Thai Wonton Soup. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered it, but was very pleasantly surprised. I also like the chicken salad rolls, and the Honey Seared. Everything else is just meh for me.
