Husband's ex guilty of 2 felonies
My husband's ex has pled guilty to scheme to defraud first degree and grand theft third degree. She is the custodial parent to their daughter and with all of this stuff going on (200 hrs. of community service and on probation until Aug 2012) my husband is wanting to get custody of his daughter. Has anyone been through this to know about how this will go? I am all for getting her down here, but do we have a strong enough case?
Re: Husband's ex guilty of 2 felonies
He needs to meet with an attorney and go from there.
Beyond that you may want to check out the Blended Families board on the bump, they will probably be of more help than this board.
One word...lawyer.
If the child is important to him, the expense of a lawyer is paltry compared to the welfare of the child.
And it won't be easy.
