Um, kind of freaked out.
A reader of my blog came across this and sent it my way. I'm not sure whether to be freaked out by this or not. I mean, I appreciate the prayers, but I have NO idea who this person is and I guess it really weirds me out to see MY pictures on THEIR blog post. Especially pics of my pee stick and ME in the hospital.

See, that's what I thought! I mean, I know that the info and pics are out there for the entire world, but they're out there on MY blog. I'm so thankful for the thoughts & prayers, but I mean she could have simply just said something or had one tiny link on her blog about it... not an entire post complete with my photos.
I think I'll send her a polite email thanking her for her support, but requesting that she remove my photos. I just wish she would have at least asked first. :

omg are you serious!?!?!? I didn't listen, I went to the site and my volume was turned up loud. When the song came on, it scared me, I screamed and started smacking the buttons until it was quite.
I'd hate for someone to stalk me, I have a "shoot first, ask questions last" kind of philosophy, ha.

At least your photos had your watermark on them. That is a little creepy that she didn't even mention anything to you, especially since she decided to post your pictures on her blog. I could see her maybe doing a post and linking to your blog, but to copy the pictures. Just wrong!

Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7
FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

I guess that's what unsettled me the most. Like, if she had emailed me and said something along the lines of "Just wanted to pass your story on to my readers, is it ok if I grab a few of your photos to use?", then that would've seemed completely normal to me. But I had NO idea about this, some other random reader emailed it to me! Just unsettling... but then again, I'm WAY hormonal right now and my emotions are all over the place, so I had no idea what the "normal" reaction should be.

Um, yeah that we would freak me out. I did take a few minutes to look around her blog and that seems to be here bloging style. A lot of her posts are other peoples blog posts and how she feels about the situation, so maybe that makes it a little less creepy and not stalkerish? Maybe thats theraputic for her?
I agree though she is out of line and should be getting permission to use the stuff she is using.

First, let me say that I do appreciate the prayers and kind words, so thank you. However, I would really appreciate it if you would remove my photos from your blog post. It's not that I don't appreciate the support, but it's proper blogging etiquette to at least email blog owners to request permission to use their photos before you add them to your own blog. Normally, I do let others use my photos *with permission*, but because of the nature of this post and sensitivity of it, I'd prefer they remain only on my blog.
Just know that in the future, no matter what blog it is, you should always ask first before using their photos.
