Mommas

When did you start yogurt with your babies?  Like the ones that they have made by gerber in the non dairy section at Target, it's with baby good. It says sitter on them, which Kiley can do, but I forgot to ask on Friday at our appointment!

Re: Mommas

  • I was told to start at 6 months by my pedi, but only 6 oz a day. So that is one of those Gerber cups. Also, they are wonderful to throw in the diaper bag since they don't need to be refrigerated. We are now using YoBaby and YoToddler for Xander, but they need to stay in the fridge. I like the variety they have and the meal ones have a fruit and a veggie in them.

  • The pedi suggested it, so we did it at 6 months.

  • I forget when the pedi said, 6 or 9 but we started giving it at 9. We give him the yo-baby kind.

  • Thom has a milk allergy, so we're waiting on yogurt, cheese, and milk until 12 months.
  • We started Dunc at 8 months with YoBaby--4 oz... just enough for him. He likes the peaches, and the vanilla with blueberries, but hates the bannana.

  • Between 7 and 8 months she took bites of mine here and there.  We don't spoon feed, so I hadn't really given her her own until recently.  I put a spoonful of Greek yogurt on her tray and she went to town on it lol.  She ended up eating about half the cup, I was impressed.  I got some great pictures of her covered in it and a video of her using a spoon :)
