H just went to the store for two cheap bottles of Walmarteau Reserve wine and brownie mix. EXCITING.
Tomorrow I'm spending the day with my girlfriend from college who is also unemployed drinking bottomless mimosas at the Grape while our SOs work.
I have nothing to AW myself with, but I do have a funny story.
I didn't make it to church this morning so I was catching up on DVR when my mom came in. She got this butthurt look on her face and said, "Why didn't you open my card?" Apparently, she thought today was Vday and had left me a card and a bag of chocolates on the kitchen table and I never saw it. I think its so funny that she got the day wrong and then was so upset that I missed it. Im going to get her flowers and a nice card tomorrow.
I did get my best friend a facial with a groupon and one for me too, Im excited about my first facial!

We celebrated last night because DH will be working tomorrow night. We went to Fresh Market and got filets, twice baked potatoes, and a molten lava cake. After dinner we watched the Social Network.
DH cleaned out our garage on Friday and bought me sour patch kids, lindor truffles, and carrot cake cupcakes.
I just realized it was tomorrow when the chilis waitress mentioned they've been super busy for v-day weekend.
I picked up a funny card last week, and I'll ptobably get him a candy bar. We don't really do valentine's day.

We have never been big on this holiday. Usually we'll use it as an excuse to try a new restaurant but this year I told DH that he had a free pass to forget about it completely.
GL with that. They've started cutting people off after 3-4, so they aren't really "bottomless" anymore.
JJ got me the necklace in posted in the other thread, and I got him truffles.
We did our gifts last night because he has to work until 10pm tonight. We had fondue last night, but I was feeling pretty sick and didn't really eat. We're not big on VD celebrations, so I'm surprised he got me a gift and was insistent on making fondue!
We don't really make a big deal out of Valentine's Day. I got him a card and a big canister of this trail mix stuff that he loves to take to work and then I picked up a DVD with the 4 Superman movies on it for him from Braden, since he was all excited that it was on this weekend and B actually sat and watched a bit of it with him.
I just emailed him asking if we could go to ***'s Wings for dinner. Super romantic.

I know, right? I've got a group of friends that DH & I there with for brunch ever so often. Last time they went, they got cut off after 3 mimosas each. I wasn't there, but the server said they were drunk & too loud. Loud? Probably, but that's just cause a group of 8+ people is going to be loud. Drunk? I don't think so cause I know how much all of them can drink.
Too loud? Maybe someone should hand that guideline to their mediocre guitarists so people don't have to shout over them in a wine bar.
We're getting PF Changs takeout and I made car bomb cupcakes for dessert.
I got DH a fresh bottle of sapphire gin and a bag of dark chocolates.
