Got my dress back

From cleaning and preserving. It looks so pretty! It's all wrapped up in a box with a window, and they made sure to put all the beading in the front ;)

Re: Got my dress back

  • Yay! I just got mine back last weekend...part of me wants to take it out and try it on again. :) FYI ladies, if you haven't had it done yet, I went with WedClean for $129 (including shipping) and they are fantastic, highly recommended!

  • My mom sent mine to get cleaned and she said they had to run it twice b/c it was so filthy!

  • I got mine back this weekend.  I didn't have it preserved.  The gal at our tux rental place was telling me all kinds of horror stories.  SHEESH!!!  She told me that the creases they put into the dresses to make them "fit" in the boxes and stay sharp are near impossible to get out again.  I have 3 daughters with the oldest one being 13.  They are already clamoring for my dress.  Now, of course I know that they will all 3 probably change their minds when the time really comes, but if not I want them to be able to wear the dress if they want to.  ya know?  I dunno if there's any truth to the stories or not.  But for now, the dress will hang in my closet.
