any recommendations - refinish hardwood floors
Anyone know of anyone that refinishes hardwood floors, or has used someone that they recommend?

Do NOT use Ace flooring. They redid ours, and did a terrible job. They were great at customer service before the sale, and were flexible with timing, but the information they gave us on the poly they used was just plain wrong, and they didn't do a good job at all. They offered to fix it, but it would have meant we couldn't live in our house for another 5 days and at that point we had had enough and just got 1/3 of our money back. It was a total nightmare.
We got a quote from Barrett Floors (http://www.barrettfloors.com/) and we liked them, but we had lead paint on one section of the floors and they were going to be more expensive to deal with that. Based on Ace flooring, Barrett would have taken a couple extra days to finish the work - but it ended up being the same amount of time out of our house because Ace lied.
We used NE Floors. They are out of Portsmouth, but travel anywhere. They did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and were super super cheap. 3 good sized rooms for $500, thats 2 coats of stain (we stained them darker), and 3 coats of polyurethane.
