Thank you all for your kind words of wisdom.
We lost my dad last night...much sooner than we thought and hoped. We were all there telling him how much we loved him. It was the worst day of my life.
He was my kindred spirit, my daddy. I already miss him so much.

Hopefully you will find peace knowing you were there with him and that he was surrounded with love when his time came.
I am so sorry for your loss...
I loss my dad too... though not to cancer.
Please take comfort in the fact that your Dad knew you loved him and that you were there for him. I am sure that he is very proud of you.
