Something to read if you're bored. Or not.
Read her post titled "diary of a mean girl". Read the comments for extra points.

I get extra points!!
So, I read the post and the comments...... I remember this particular poster and her responses take "mean" to an entirely new level. I am glad that she has realized that she did not act appropriately.
I do know who that is.
to her.
I know of several people on The Nest that should take that to heart.
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
I have no idea who she is, but I don't think I could be so quick to forgive if my feelings were so hurt. I absolutely do get the idea that your feelings can be hurt online (yes, there is a real person on the other side of the keyboard!) so I applaud that recognition. I hate the whole, "If you get your feelings hurt from a stupid message board, maybe YOU'RE the problem" mentality.
In this case, if I were a victim of the bullying, I'd probably think, "Good for her! I hope this change sticks!" but wouldn't actually type out, "Oh, you made me cry for days by insulting my fledgling mothering abilities and leave the board, but now I'm SO happy you've had a change of heart. Let's be BFFs!"
Maybe I'm just not a very nice person, though.
Oh, I absolutely agree with everything about this post. I was kind of...appalled by the whole 'let's be BFFs"-type comments.
