So I have been a bit of Debbie Downer lately and haven't been replying to posts. I've been lurking but I never have anything original to say once everyone has said nice things. But, please know that I do care what you're posting and I pretty much echo everyone's sentiments!
My girlfriend watched May for a few hours on Saturday and Clint and I were able to go run errands and go out to supper just the two of us and it really energized me. I had no idea how much I needed some time to ourselves. I absolutely adore May and I love being a mommy more than anything so I did not know how big of a difference a night out would make.
Combine that with making a sleep breakthrough this weekend, I am feeling a lot less cynical and negative! I will be trying to be more actively supportive!
Re: Okay, sorry!
Yay for being energized!
I know how you feel. I lurk a lot more than I post these days.
No worries!
It's rough being a Mom. There are definitely ups and downs.
My BFF's son either sleeps through the night for her or stays up the ENTIRE night (she's a teacher and commutes 2 hours a day to and from work). She too has good and bad days. And sometimes you just need a break!
Thank goodness for good friends that can babysit so you guys can get a breather.
