breakfast and lunch please

What do you normally have for breakfast and lunch?

I am in a rut and need to eat better.  I usually have a waffle or pancake for breakfast and either left-overs or a sandwich for lunch.  

I am not a huge fruit person and yogurt just doesn't do it for me.

  • My old stand-by is an english muffin with peanut butter, quick and easy with some protein and fills me up until lunch or so. 

    Sometimes I put a serving of egg beaters in a ramekin and microwave until done and then serve on an english muffin with cheese and a slice of canadian bacon or in a tortilla with cheese and salsa. Recently I have been making instant grits and cheese, or cream of wheat with some brown sugar.

  • Here's some of my favs: 

    Breakfast: Cereal with milk, Carnation Instant Breakfast, Whole Wheat bagel thin with pb or butter, scrambled eggs (when I'm home with Gianna), eggs over easy (I love the yolks!), quaker oatmeal (whatever flavor I'm in the mood for)

    Lunch:  bean & cheese burrito (either black or refried beans), salad, sandwiches, green giant veggie steamers, progresso soup
