I need to get this off my chest.
Adrian has been very fussy at night...waking frequently. This is atypical.
After being up every hour, I asked DH for help. I asked him to feed him. He goes downstairs and I hear laughter and squealing. Who gets an infant all wound up at 4am? Well, DH. And then he pops his pacifer in his mouth and goes to sleep. DH falls right asleep. The baby is wondering where everyone went...he was having fun. I poke DH and say "Why don't you finish what you started. He's all wound up now and needs to be wound back down". Uhuh he says. I yell at him "WAKE UP. YOU NEED TO FIX WHAT YOU STARTED". DH wakes up and says "In a minute". Well, he didn't get up. At this point the baby is crying loudly. And I'm so mad that I know I won't be able to sleep so I tend to my little angel.
This morning, DH hears me up and moving and wants a hug. Um.. no hug. I tell him you can get up and discuss with me why I am so mad at you. I'm home for 20 more minutes. DH apparently chose to sleep in longer.
Did I mention that I let DH sleep until 9:45 yesterday?????
Okay, vent over. Thanks for letting me get it off my chest.
Re: vent....
I really think that every husband has days like this, where you feel like their head is filled w/ concrete instead of brain matter. Things that seem so obvious to us go by them unnoticed and it's so frustrating. I'm sorry you had a crappy morning, but know that most of us have been there. Talk to him about it tonight and I'm sure he'll understand.
PS - sounds like your little man is teething to me!

This is usually my husbands excuse. Honey, I feel your pain so greatly. Over the last 14 months I can't tell you the anger and frustration that has occurred over sleep. The other week (I posted about it) I snapped and now I come right out and say it and I don't back down.
Its so tough though when the baby is screaming their poor little head off and the man just lies there and they can tune it right out. We physically can't
hang in there!
