Today has redeemed itself!
Just got a call from DH asking that I drive to the base around 8PM tonight... because the ship is coming in and he'll be coming home!!! 
He hadn't anticipated making it up for the night, but the Commanding Officer decided to put the boots to 'er and get home tonight. So, so very happy.

I am totally sending you some- we're getting it from the place I would argue has the BEST Greek style pizza ever, and I'm going to demolish it!
