As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. My DH found out today after several weeks of patiently waiting for his start date at his new job that they decided to cancel the offer due to budgetary reasons. Crying I don't even know what to say, he's so disappointed.

    Thanks guys. I've never told y'all this but my DH suffers from some pretty serious depression, it came out of nowhere a couple years ago and it's been a real struggle. Things have been slowly but surely getting better, but frankly, he just didn't need this.

    Wow Britt. I'm SO incredibly sorry. That's really terrible. Your DH is very lucky to have you there to support him emotionally as he struggles with this. I'm sending lots of new job vibes and genuinely wish him the easiest time in handling his disappointment as possible.

    I'm so sorry, Britt. I hope he's able to stay positive, I've also had some depression issues and when one thing goes bad, my mind allows everything to start snowballing. I hope that he can separate this one issue and stay focused on looking for a new job. Lots of T&P for you guys!

    Thanks again. I'm trying my best to be supportive and keep giving him pep talks about how this will all work out for the best. We used our Mellow Mushroom Groupon last night to drown our sorrows in pizza and beer.
