  But I was able to sneak away for dinner with B. We dropped B2 off at the ILs and headed to Granite City for an early dinner. Then went gun shopping. So romantic, ahe? I picked out a new little 22 for me. Ha. Never did I think there would be a day I would talk about guns or picking one out.

  And you're like the 5th person I know to mention going to Granite City this weekend... we planned to go there Saturday night but plans got changed and I couldn't find a sitter on such short notice.  We ended up taking H&H to see Gnomeo and Juliet, ate ice cream, and stayed up way past bedtime.  Spent Sunday recovering haha.

  Weekend was AMAZING!!!  Dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse Friday night followed by a movie. Saturday spent some time at the gym, Angi she did arms again and mine were KILLING me, then another movie night.  Sunday was spent doing laundry and homework.

  My weekend was uneventful.  DH worked on the house all weekend (a lot of painting this time around).  I worked all day Saturday (and watched the Bud Shootout Saturday night...it's about that time of year) and the highlight of yesterday was a trip to Costco.

  Mine was busy & wonderful! Friday the boy came into town and we did a bunch of running around for Charli's birthday party. Saturday I worked 10-6 and then came home and snuggled my TWO YEAR old!! lol. And finished getting everything together for the party. Sunday I woke up super early to make the food, then went to church, set up for the birthday party, and then celebrated my Charli Bear turning 2. We had the cutest cake EVER thanks to Angi ) The only bad thing was that as Sunday progressed I started losing my voice and coughing a lot, I had to go out to Bay Park and do patient research for clinical and then woke up this morning with NO voice and had to call my clinical instructor and painfully communicate that I had no voice, lol. She told me to stay home. Anyway ... great weekend!

  I love these posts b/c it forces me to actually try and recall the past 4 days, lol.

  Friday -- chilled out...actually can't remember...see what I mean?
  

  Saturday -- went shopping for a new suit for DH at Macy's.  He wanted Grey but they didn't have one he wanted, but he found a black one on clearance for $35...um it was $425 orginally!! Why do I never score deals like that.  We spent some time at the mall which kinda made me feel dirty...ugh..but we stopped at my fav bakery (and b/c Angi doesn't live near me) down here and I got lots of high calorie treats to munch on. I also got A an old navy shirt that is Maumee colors, love it.

  Sunday --  some family stopped by for a bit to see C and chilled more

  Monday -- felt like a 4 day wkend b/c DH took today off.  We went to BD's for lunch and DH was still on the hunt for a grey suit, which he found at Burlington for $50.  Oh the deals he gets.  I got a pair of pants at Loft, but they don't fit which makes me mad b/c they are the same size as the pants from there that do fit, just a different style.

  I HATE that!!!! As if shopping for pants isn't hard enough they go and do stuff like that. ugh.
