Sooo... a little weekend recap: We've had a little bit of Bailey's left in our pantry for a few weeks now. Last week, my boss announced she's retiring so I will have my fifth boss in two years this June. Anywho, that Bailey's sounded really good. On Friday night, I poured myself a glass, added some milk and was in heaven. I got up and went in the other room. When I came back (literally two minutes later), the glass was empty. Now, this was my first drink of the night so I figured I should've remembered drinking it. Then I noticed that the drink was splattered all over the end table. Then I looked down at the dog and she belched right in my face. Dammit. The dog drank my Bailey's.
At first, I was in shock, but then she was having trouble walking and I totally freaked out and yelled for my husband. We called our vets 24 hour number and told them what she drank, how much she drank (like 1/3 of a cup), and how much she weighed and they didn't seem too concerned but said we could call poison control and they would be able get an exact calculation of her blood alcohol level and determine whether or not it was toxic. So we did that and poison control wasn't concerned eithter. We had to get up every two hours to check on her though. Seriously scary. I guess she's a lush like her mommy.

Knowing that everything turned out okay, that is hilarious (I hope that doesn't seem insenstive). Did she continue to have trouble walking? In all seriousness I am so glad she was okay, I know how much I freak out when my dogs get into anything.
I am literally LOLing right now, but I am glad she's ok!
Our dog loves beer, as in will sit there begging for beer if DH has one in his hand.

Definitely doesn't seem insensitive. We laughed a bit about it the next day. And, even though she was having trouble walking straight, she certainly wanted to play. She was just like a drunk human - ten feet tall and bullet proof. Once we calmed her down and got her to sleep for a couple of hours, she started walking normally again.
