Let's say there is a dish full of colored candies - based only on color which one do you choose.
You don't know which kind of candy it is, you don't know for sure what the flavors are, what color is most likely to be a flavor you like based on prior knowledge of candies of that color?

Re: Candies in a dish
I chose orange. I like orange orange, I like chocolate and orange together, if it's sour, it's not likely to be extremely sour, and there's a good chance it's fruity, and I like fruity.
Red- big no... cherry/ choc & cherry is great, but cinnamon is the most vile of candy flavors and a likely option
Yellow- not a big sour fan and I don't know what else it might be. I suppose it could be code for white chocolate- also a loser in my book.
Green- again, could be sour (blech) or could be green apple, a dud. While mint isn't bad, it's not my favorite.
Blue- who knows what blue is... it's dangerous when you don't know.
Purple- I thought of grape or spice, both of which are good. DH thought of dark chocolate, which again isn't bad, though I prefer milk. If you were out of orange, purple would be a solid backup.
Clearly I gave this WAAAAY too much thought. And I'm super curious why you ask.

I chose purple. I would have picked red, but I was afraid that they might be cinnamon and not cherry.
I like that you thought it out.
It's just something I have been thinking about for a while, and wanted to see what other would say.
When considering a drink or candy I always take the red one. I have told more than a few bartenders that I like things that taste red. I like cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, strawberry.
I asked DH one time and he said purple, which I would never consider - what if it was grape? Yuck.
When I have sweet tarts I end up with "Barney" colors left - but for a while they changed the green from lime to apple and I liked it, but I bought sweet tart hearts for V-day and they were back to lime.
Orange would be my second choice.
