to edward jones to a Traditional IRA and then converted it to a ROTH
after that how to put it into turbo tax?

My husband converted a traditional to a Roth last year. We received a form (I can't remember what one) that had all the necessary information on it. We use TaxAct and it had a prompt asking if we did this. I answered yes and then it prompted me which boxes to pull info from.
You'll have to pay taxes on it when you file, so you either see your refund drop, or what you owe increase when you put it in.
I'm not sure how helpful that it. Maybe try asking the Tax subboard over on MM?

Yeah that is what I did, here is the confusing part.
I got a 1099R from TIAA Cref because I rolled it into a TRAD at EJ.
Then I got a 1099 R from EJ because I converted it into a ROTH.
So I'm curious if I have to enter both?
I would say yes because I *think* there are tax implications on both moves.
