Kitteh!!!
We get our Valentine's kitty after all! We got the official ok from the landlord today, and I also got an email from the woman currently fostering Lola. If you missed out on Lola, the photo I put up was from when they found her, abandoned at 8 months. She went straight into foster care to get the socialization and medical care needed. Monica, her foster, emailed me today and said Lola is a sweet, cuddly, small for her age 5 month old now, and ready for a home!!! So, even thought we don't celebrate this particular holiday, it's quickly turning into my favorite one.
Here's Lola at 8 weeks, from the profile photo. Since she's turning into our V-day present, we're adding Rose to her name.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermAww shes adorable. I am not usually a cat person either and I love our cat. The fat, lazy bastard that he is.
Just as a side note. Mike is allergic to cats also and when we got Zeke he had a tough time the first couple of weeks but he has gotten so used our cats dander that he doesnt even notice.
Oh and dont forget to buy feathers! and bells! and a laser..lol
Getting fit for IVF!
Yes!!!! You can usually find a whole pack of these toys. Oh and catnip filled toys! We throw those out to our cat once in a while and she goes crazy.
But she's adorable! I'm glad you guys got her, that's a nice v-day gift.
Aww she is SO cute!!! I was never, ever a cat person but my husband came with a kitty and I admit that I absolutely love her to death!
They are so easy to maintain since they are so self-sufficient. Forget toys.. my cat is endlessly entertained by a string. Literally. You can play with her with it, or she will toss it around and play by herself.
GL with your new furbaby, she's such a cutie!!

She's home with Zach now - I'm currently at work. For most of the afternoon, she was very leary of everything and pretty much barricaded herself in my pantry. Zach sent a text a few hours ago saying she was in there crying still - she meows, but stops the moment we enter the room.
New text as I type - Zach said she's stopped crying and has moved from the pantry to under the kitchen table, so we're making progress! I don't have any good pictures of her yet, so as soon as I do, you'll be the first to see them! Well, you ladies and Facebook - she's already got her own photo album with the only 2 pictures I have of her.

She is so adorable. We got a kitten just after we got back from our HM. She is a handful but we love her. We actually just picked her up this afternoon from the vet where she got her girly parts removed.
Our cat loves the laser pointer and anything with a bell. She is also obsessed with paper bags. A scratching post is a must....we actually just upgraded to a kitty condo haha because she needed to climb things. GL
Aww! YAY! She's adorable. If she's already coming around that fast, she'll be taking over the whole house in no time. When we brought Cami home (she was one of the "barn cats" at Keith's brother's place, so she had ONLY ever lived outside and had very little human contact - I won't start my rant about "barn cats" here right now!) she ran straight to the top of the stairs (highest point she could get to in the house) and stayed there most of the night. Eventually she came down and tried out the couch for size and the rest is history. lol

Also, on the allergy thing. Keith is allergic to most cats, but some don't bother him much. Thankfully, Cami is one that doesn't bother him very much at all. And I think having her around has sort of somehow maybe built up an immunity of sorts, because he now has far less trouble at my mom and dad's house (they have 4 cats) than he used to.
Oh, and our good friends have a kitty named Lola. She's pretty funny. This is her and her big brother, Oliver.
