Re: Netflix Queue Recommendations

  • The Town was awesome, just watched it this weekend.

Started up Glee on discs, also love it and wish I'd gotten in from the beginning.

Friday Night Lights - bonus available on instant streaming

Greek - fun little show, also on instant streaming

  • We just watched: Everybody's Fine and Julie and Julia and liked both of them

I did not like Shutter Island, but some of you may.

I've added in Life as We Know It which is new to DVD.  I'm going to watch The Lovely Bones probably tomorrow and I know we have Precious still in our queue.  I can't remember what else is in there and Netflix is blocked at work for me.

Do not read spoilers on this movie. It was a movie that pissed me off initially, but as I thought about it for a couple days I came to realize how well the story came together. It's one of my favorite movies from the past couple years. I even liked enough to buy it on blu-ray, which says a lot.

  • I'm sad that I can't watch most of these movies yet. Netflix just came to Canada in November or so (I think?) and there's so many titles "not available" yet. I guess they have to work out copyright issues? I just watched "The Man in the Moon" it was Reese Witherspoon's first film. I wouldn't say it was spectacular but it was a sweet movie and definitley fun to see Reese Witherspoon when she was so little!
