I'm not sure if you saw my post below, but I have some specific questions for you.

What's your best recommendation for increasing speed when running?  Just intervals going faster, or should I try to just increase my speed a little bit and then back down to my "regular" when it's too fast?

What are your top 3 tips to a healthier diet?  I eat pretty healthy already, but have hit a plateau and just don't even know what to do.  Cut carbs down?  Cut sugar (which other than fruit don't really eat much of anyway)? Cut sodium?

I'd love to hear what you have to say!

    I didn't see it, sorry!

I'd suggest intervals for increasing speed. Track work or outside is best (if you have a distance you know ), then also tempo runs, so not necessarily LSD runs but at a faster tempo and a little shorter run.

As far as diet is concerned

    1. Eat your protein! all day long, it keeps you full

    2. Don't be afraid of fat, you need it to keep processes going and to allow you to absorb fat soluble vitamins (also, if they remove fat they usually add unnatural things , which is bad)

    3. Eat lots of leafy greens, they make you feel full as well and they are sooo good for you.

Obviously you don't want to have too much sugar and if you feel like you a carb sensitive person then try to time them (ie have them in the AM so you have a long time to burn them off, or eat them after a workout)

Precision nutrition (google it) is an AWESOME program that I would highly recommend.

This looks great, I'm going to get signed up tonight so I can watch the videos at home.

I'm already doing intervals on the treadmill, my outside running has been halted due to sub-zero temps and the fact that it's too dark after work. I feel like I need a Garmin or something for tempo runs outside, I can't really tell how fast I'm going other than my average at the end.

    Thank you!
