Do you ever have days where you're just overly sensitive?
Not sure what's wrong with me today, but I'm taking everything anyone says to me today way too seriously and finding myself stewing over a lot.
I'm sure things aren't even remotely close to being intentional, but for some reason I've had my feelings hurt like 5 times already this morning by different people.
Do you ever have days like that? WHAT THE HECK?!?!? I want to break free from the funk!

Re: Do you ever have days where you're just overly sensitive?
Oh yes I have lots of days like that. I tend to dwell on things and think the worst case scenario will happen when in reality it almost never happens. I'm slowly but surely getting over that.
I'm actually finding myself in a kerfluffle over my Gaga post below. I keep feeling like I have to be overly defensive of my opinions. Heaven forbid someone not like Lady Gaga.
(<---see, there I go! Stop it Jenny!)
all. the. time. I find a shot of Southern Comfort helps immensely!
And Kiz...don't worry. I'm not in the Gaga or Bieber thing either. She isn't a horrible singer but her new song is too Madonna-y. but Bieber is like nails on a chalkboard. And after Skylar's party on Friday I am have those feelings even stronger!
I don't know anyone who doesn't have days like that. My days like that just make me overly hostile though, not usually upset. Example: Don't ask me about my elevator use on the wrong day.
Sorry you are feeling bad. Try to realize that most people are oblivious to the fact that they are hurting your feelings.

Ha! If it helps any, I like your Gaga post. And I can't stand Beiber. Bieber? How do you spell his name?!?!

Yeah...I definitely know they aren't being intentional about it, and I guess that's what makes me feel so stupid.
I just mentioned something about my twitter account to a friend and she called twitter "silly." So I took it that I was stupid because I had a twitter account. She totally didn't even mean it that way. I AM LAME.
I should just go crawl back into bed, but alas, I have to head to work for a meeting. Where I will no doubt take something said as personal. HA!

Think to yourself "who gives a crap?" People get weirdly defensive over music. I don't get it. I don't think I've ever loves a musical group enough to get defensive over it. Except maybe The Beatles and anyone who doesn't like them is an *** anyway.
Anyway, don't sweat it. I'm sure everyone completely understands why some people don't like her. But if they are big fans, they feel like they need to defend her. Just like Mush's twitter thing. People take things personally when they like something and someone else doesn't.

KIZ! If you wanna feel better, go over to the H&F board right now and check out the "Should skinny people be allowed at the gym" post.
WOW.

I don't think anyone can blame you for that! I can't imagine a more stressful situation.

I had to comment. I think though the OP worded her post titled poorly, she has legitimate concerns and people jumped all over her! I have a hard time believing some of those posters wouldn't notice or have an opinion about someone very obviously skeletal working out at the gym. It's okay to admit you are human sometimes people! Good grief.
