I swear I won't post these everyday, but the board is slow and H is at basketball...so...
*bird* loves her new shredding toy. She is having a blast ripping it to shreads.
and then on her H's wall:
*brid* says "baa baa baa baa baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa". Translation: I love you daddy."
I mean, I talk as the cats at home and I give H cards from them from his bday, but this is getting a little out of control. Such a sweet girl, but I think she's loosing her mind or something.

Re: More Bird Updates
bird aside, i HATE when couples talk over facebook, especially mush talk.
my sister sends messages to her partner, (partner name) the dinner you made tonight was incredible. you are the best cook ever. i am so lucky to have you. blah blah blah blah..." seriously say it in a greeting card. not in a public area where everyone else has to read it.
ok, sorry, just had to get that out.
your SIL is weird and it's funny because i was going to ask if she was in a relationship thinking she must be single. i am probably just as odd with my cats and my SIL is just as odd with her rabbit, but we know it's best not shared with the world, just like minded people. and no offense to anyone, but i'm just not into birds. i don't find them warm and fuzzy. but to each her own i suppose.
oh yeah... who is this anyway? your brother's wife, your h's sister, your h's brother's wife...? what is the relation here?
I don't block them b/c I find them to be funny. I'm not sure why - it's a little malicious b/c I'm technically laughing at her, but they entertain me.
This would be my H's brother's wife. They're both pretty quiet and prefer to hang out at home rather than with crowds. They'll go to eat out or whatever with us if we're in town, but they aren't really "fun loving". Hard to describe I guess - they do go to sporting events & concerts (...heavy metal for her which doesn't "fit" her personality), but they like to stay home and play video games a lot. She normally likes very childlike things I guess...like pink sparkly things, Zhu-Zhu pets, butterflys...um...can't think of much else since I don't know her all that well. She's really nice to me (and I'm nice to her other than copy/pasting her bird statues I guess).
Oh, and she'd love other pets, but she's allergic to everything but hamsters. She used to have "hammies" as she called them all the time, but the life span on those things are like 1 year. Hers were always dying and she'd cry so she got two birds. Then one died so she still has this one and it's like obsession.
Seriously her other bird died right around the time my grandpa died and she wrote all these statuses about how depressed she was. I felt bad and send her a message that I was sorry to hear about her bird and she didn't ever say anything about my grandpa. It was a little strange.
That would irk me about her not acknowledging your grandpa. Your description of her kinda reminds me of those kids in high school who really liked anime...I know, generalization, but with the childhood stuff...
I think the updates funny too. I get not blocking her for the entertainment factor. My SIL (DH's sister) updates her status about every once and half the time it's just quotes, but the other half is normally something scandalous or rude or anything...DH blocked her and I'm always saying "Did you SEE on your sister's FB?!" and he asks me why I don't just block her...because it's entertaining. lol.
Boss's dad has been pretty tame lately. He did show me a sparkly "diamond" ring today that he said his girlfriend gave him for V-day and that it was $10K. He then told me it was really $5 and he bought it for a joke.
He also gave all of us ladies chocolate covered strawberries for V-Day and when my boss bit into one it had a hair in it. Like rolled into the chocolate so she didn't know it was there until she bit it and when she pulled back from the bite there was a huge long hair. I didn't see this actually happen, but when they told me the story it was freaking hilarious.
Yes! Just like this, but sub in teeny bopper type stuff (...that made me feel old!). More just kiddy stuff like Hello Kitty, candy, lip gloss that's flavored like soda...like a 13 year old, but as an adult.
When we took my grandmom out to brunch this morning there was a long hair on her plate when they brought it out. I said something and she waved it off as if it was her own. Yeah, her hair hasn't been that long since the 70's.
