What's your nail routine?
I'm trying to make my nails and hands look less haggard.
I'm a cuticle picker (gross, I know) but even when I don't, they look dry and jagged. My nails themselves are fine, but what can I do to get the area around them looking better? I apply lotion throughout the day, but it doesn't seem to really do anything.
Also, weekly manicures out not in the budget (unfortunately!).

my nails look like crap all the time, so i'm no help. i'm a cuticle picker and a nail biter. DH is constantly slapping my hands because i'm always biting or something. ugh, it's bad.
burts bee's makes a cuticle something or other. i use that sometimes. i guess it helps? but usually my nails are just a mess. i always feel bad for my poor wedding bands-they deserve to be surrounded by pretty fingers and all they get is jagged crappiness! ha!
Ditto all of this. I bite my nails something awful so rarely are they decent enough to even put nail polish on. For a while I was using that Burt's Bees cuticle thing and it was working well when I remembered to use it.
