The most expensive recycling system I've ever seen...

I was flipping through old Martha Stewart magazines clipping out articles and recipes I want to save, and I ran across this from the January 2010 issue (yeah, I'm way behind in my sorting!) and just had to share:

Yes, for a mere $229.99 (Indifferent), you, too, can have the most stylish recycling bin on the block!

Anyone else have any ridiculous (in price or otherwise) green products they would like to share?

  • I am not going to lie...that is all kinds of awesome. I love the fact that it compacts too.
  • When I saw the title of your post, my immediate thought was "oh I bet it's that stupid compacting one for like $300" Surprise

I see expensive watering systems for containers all the time.  I'm like, unless you have a forest of pots on your porch, go out there with a watering can!

LOL...yep, and this price is for the black one...the stainless was closer to $300.

(I will admit, we are getting a watering system for this year's garden.  I resisted last year because I thought it was so lazy for our two boxes + tomato pots, but since I managed to kill everything by not watering often enough, I gave in and we're using a gift card.  It won't be nearly as expensive as the fancy recycling bin, though!)
