My local board is busier than this one.

Perk up!! I'm slowly going crazy waiting by the phone. Tomorrow will mark one week since my interview. I don't do patience well.

Re: You guys?
Awwwwww. Sorry!
I'm kinda here. I don't have much to talk about. I'm trying to not be mopey and am instead working on updating my CV/resume and looking online at houses in the area (since we won't be moving now).
That's scary mames (about the local board). Mine is always dead.
I hear you about going crazy waiting for the phone to ring. Today is two weeks since my interview. To make matters worse, when my mom calls me from work and I see the number, I think it is them calling, and it is her, I am bummed. She works for the hospital. Sigh.
SBS - I know rejection feels horrible, but it must be a little nice to at least know your location for the next few years so you can really move on with another plan.
mb - Waiting is horrible!! What's the position you interviewed for?

Full time art therapist at one of the children's hospitals. I actually went to school for that, so I'd be using my degree finally!

Good luck, girls. I hope everything works out!
I've just been feeling blue lately, so I haven't been around much. I really need a pick me up.

::{JOB DUST}:: to everyone who needs it.
mames, you're totally right. I am glad to have the big/bold question mark gone. But now that that's answered, there's lots of other little question marks now that I'm trying to figure out instead -- do I want to work? full or part time? what about a house? do I want to teach or do administration? or something else entirely? I think about all those questions and then I start singing Evita (Where do we go from here?)
If anyone has any fabulous life-planning suggestions, lemme know!
How cool is that? What would you be doing in your position? I've been sending you job dust too.
kaley-I'm sorry you've been feeling down lately. Hope you are feeling better soon. Anything us J9-ers can do for you?
SBS-I think you should blog more and open that esty shop you've been wanting too. Seriously though, take your time to figure things out. The right path will become clear to you. This has been your Zen moment for the day ; )
kaley - hope things start looking up for you.
mb - it's in corporate communications
sbs - ahh, decisions. i'm sure you'll figure it all out over time, the world is your oyster!

Your local board is busier?? That's bad news!! The weather has really been getting me down lately, so ive just been in hibernation mode. And aside from that, I am afraid to introduce TN into my workday at my current job, since I spent WAY too much time on there at my previous job (but that was also boredom-induced). So I'm still trying to keep the 'at work' internet use to a minimum.
Good luck with the job stuff ladies! I know how difficult the waiting process is. I am pretty much the least patient person ever.
Mamie ? are you planning to call & check in at the one week point??
