Had an ultrasound last week. Everything looked good but my Dr.s office called back today wanting to schedule another ultrasound next week.
Her abdomen is measuring behind - over a week behind everything else. Head circ, heart,GI tract, limbs and overall size looks fine, just has a small belly.
She has a 3 vessel cord with proper cord insertion which is good. It may catch up but they want to double check to be sure. Now I am going to worry about it for another week. I have not gained that much weight and I am trying to reassure myself that she is fine and I could not have changed this if I was eating more blah blah blah. I am really worried though.

I would think that since the GI tract is normal and they haven't mentioned concerns about the bladder, etc. that I'm sure they're just "making sure." Maybe your little one hasn't developed a ton of brown fat yet around her belly?
Everything we have been taught in school and by doctors in clinicals is that your baby takes the nutrients you eat first and THEN your body gets to use what's left over-- so I can't imagine that you're not eating more would contribute to any of these issues. What we are taught is that it is usually more what you eat that matters-- i.e. not just a ton of french fries, potato chips, and not enough protein and vitamins and such.
Hang in there! I know I'd be worried, too-- because I HATE waiting for test results, so unnerving-- but you have been so healthy throughout this pregnancy and nobody has told you that any of the important organs are giving cause for concern. So think positive thoughts and we will send you good Nestie juju to help out!
My mantra during this pregnancy is that if I can't do anything to control the outcome while I wait, I can't waste my time being worried over it until I know there's something worth worrying about.
There have been times when this was easier said than done - like waiting 11 days for amnio results to confirm or deny that our baby had a genetic defect... but overall, it's helped.
Since there's nothing you can do to change it, AND everything else looks good, try not to worry between now and your next ultrasound. I'm sure you haven't done anything wrong, so do not blame yourself. Don't waste any energy worrying about something that may just be a false alarm. Keep us posted.

Thanks ladies! DH googled it last night without telling me because I refused to do so. From what he read, most of the time its a bad angle on the U/S or the baby just hasnt packed on fat yet.
Trying not to worry about it. Will let you know how everything turns out!
