I have no idea. I don't even remember the first time we danced, but it was probably over 10 years ago. I know I should remember this stuff, but I just don't.

We went to the movies to see Fight Club. I DO remember that. I even remember which theater we saw it in. Meaning, which cinema and which theater.

Probably just a trip to his hometown for the day.

We didn't really do a first dance. We danced twice. Once to a song he'd picked (GOD, I AM horrible! I CAN'T remember! OMG!) and once to the song I had my friend sing... Could I Have This Dance (for the rest of my life) by Anne Murray.

"Every Rose Has its Thorn" - it was at my friend's wedding, and that was the only slow song they played, aside from first dance/parent dances/etc.

Bonus: Which song is "yours" as a couple "City on Our Knees" by TobyMac. The first time we ever heard it was when it was playing on the radio the first night we said I love you to each other. It starts with "If we gotta start somewhere, why not here? If we gotta start sometime, why not now?" and has a repeating lyric that says "Tonight could last forever. We are one choice from together. You and me. Family." It just fit the moment so perfectly, so he had it cued up to play when he proposed to me and we used a special mix of it when I walked down the aisle. :-)

Crazy-Techno stuff. Our friend was mixing, and we were just sitting at the bar then he grabbed my arm and ran to the dance floor - I love to dance to any music, but I had no idea!! It was insanely fun and to this day one of the best memories I have with him. I didn't even know he could/wanted to dance like that!
