I'm floored. I do not think there was enough evidence to convict him beyond a resonable doubt. Anyone else read through the blogs re:the jury selections? Scary, just scary.

I'm just grateful it's over so we can avoid a 4th trial.
How exactly do you find an impartial jury pool when it's the 3rd trial? You'd have to live under a rock around here to not know anything about this trial by now. And I got the vibe they were going to keep it going until someone came back with 'guilty'.
I completely agree!
I feel for both families.
Yes, and yes. They should have moved the venue.

They should have put him on the stand, especially since they were limited in how much money they could spend on expert witnesses (they spent more during the second trial, which probably produced enough reasonable doubt within the jury to acquit him). Since they were limited, the defense should have done a better job of restructuring their defense but they also should have put him on the stand--hearing him say "I'm innocent" to a news reporter will not sway anyone and I think they failed him there.
They'll appeal the verdict, but who knows what the outcome of that will be.
I'm not sure if I do think he is guilty or not...
But what I DO know is that there is no way that there is enough evidence for him to be guilty of murder (or anything else for that matter). Did any of you read what they most recently said in the enquirer about the jurors comments after the trial?
Jeesh, I sure hope that he is guilty considering all the time he may be in jail & all the time spent with these trials..
